Ventilating Fans

Ventilation is one of the most important architectural requirements that must be taken into account in the architectural design inside buildings and facilities, especially for spaces that contain moisture due to the lack of natural air entry or its entry in small quantities, or internal spaces that do not reach natural ventilation, or tall and compact buildings.

Ventilation-works!

This process is done using fans in different cases, including:

1. Regular ventilation works

It is a process to remove unwanted air and push fresh air in its place in some cases and according to the requirements and nature of use.

2. Emergency ventilation works

The most famous of these are cases of fire (God forbid), in which the process of smoke extraction takes place with suction fans of special specifications (withstanding high temperatures) and they are connected to the fire system.

Also, the cases of air pressure of the escape stairs (stairs), and this process takes place in high buildings, and this forced air works to increase the pressure in the stairs so that no smoke leaks into it in cases of fire, in order to allow people to leave the building, and all of this is designed according to international specifications and codes, the most famous of which is the code Firefighting (NFPA)

Block-Heading-Purpose!

The purpose of the ventilation process must be determined according to the nature and requirements of the place

Air renewal and the proportion of air that must be renewed or replaced, its uses and sources.
Determine the amount of air and its specifications.
Determine the ventilation system, whether it will be centralized, that is, by adopting a fan and an air duct network, or by segmented ventilation, that is, each place is independent of the other.
Determining the type of fans that should be used, taking into account that they are suitable for the purpose and location, and determining their capabilities and locations for their installation, taking into account that they are within the reach of the cleaning and maintenance personnel later, and that they do not cause anxiety to the people around the place or its occupants.

Ventilation works are divided into:

  • _ Pumping air from outside to inside (Fresh Air)
  • _ Exhaust
  • _ Fresh air is injected and Exhaust air is drawn at the same time in some places.

In view of the importance of supplying these voids with healthy fresh air and renewing the air inside them!!

We work at Nafal Air Conditioning to find all kinds of ventilation solutions for different places and according to their nature

  • · Locations of heat and steam, such as (restaurants, home kitchens, etc.)
  • · Places of humidity and lack of oxygen such as (swimming pools, garages, warehouses, gyms, etc.)
  • · Locations of heat generated by equipment such as (factories, workshops, etc.)
  • · Places of unpleasant odors and polluted air such as (hospitals, bathrooms, etc.)
  • · Crowded places that need air suction and pumping new air together, such as (halls, shopping malls, etc.)

Ventilation-System Types!

    • · Ceiling or central ceiling mounted fans)) They are installed outside the building on the upper roof, and are used in both cases to pump fresh air or suction air, but in the case of pumping air from outside, they are installed with filters to purify the air.
    • · Linear fans (Inline Fans) that are installed inside the building above the false ceiling and also work in both cases of air suction and pumping from the outside.
    • · Cassette Fan, which is attached to the false ceiling as if it were part of it
    • · A wall mounted fan that is installed on an opening in the wall, facade, or glass window overlooking a street or a skylight.
